Asaba Monarch Calls For Unity, Compassion & Child Development

Asagba Extends Eid-El-Kabir Greetings
THE Asagba of Asaba, Epiphany Azinge, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Palace and the people of Asaba Kingdom, the monarch described Eid-El-Kabir as a sacred season that reflects the values of sacrifice, faith and obedience to God.
He prayed that the celebration would strengthen compassion, unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians while bringing progress and harmony to communities across the country.
Children Described as Future of Society
The monarch also joined Nigerians in celebrating Children’s Day, describing children as the pride of Asaba Kingdom and the hope of the nation’s future.
According to him, the development of children must remain a collective responsibility, stressing the importance of providing safe and supportive environments where children can learn and grow.
The Asagba reaffirmed the Palace’s commitment to promoting the welfare, dignity and opportunities of children within the kingdom.
Call for Unity and Shared Purpose
The royal father urged residents to continue promoting unity, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence for the collective good of society.
He expressed optimism that stronger communal values and shared commitment to development would continue to strengthen Asaba Kingdom and the wider Nigerian society.
