Spare Parts Dealers Pay Homage To Asagba, Celebrate Iwaji Tradition

THE Delta State Motor/Motorcycle Spare Parts Dealers Association has paid a courtesy visit to the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty Prof. Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, SAN, OON.
The delegation visited the Royal Palace on 15 September 2026, to pay homage to the monarch and extend its goodwill ahead of the annual Iwaji celebration.
The association also wished the Asagba a successful and memorable celebration.
Receiving the delegation, Asagba Azinge thanked the association for its thoughtfulness and for taking time to visit the palace during the important traditional period.
The monarch subsequently invited members of the association to join him at the palace for the Iwaji celebration scheduled for Thursday 17 September 2026.
He also prayed for a prosperous new year for Asaba and its people.
According to the Asagba, the coming year should bring abundant blessings, peace and prosperity to residents of the kingdom and everyone connected to Asaba.
Speaking during the visit, Comrade Anthony Enebeli said the delegation came to celebrate with the monarch and rejoice with him over the blessings of a fruitful harvest.
Enebeli described Asaba as a blessed land and reaffirmed the association’s goodwill towards the Asagba and the entire kingdom.
The visit therefore strengthened the bond between the traditional institution and members of the motor and motorcycle spare parts trade in Asaba.
