A Commitment to Serve Without Bias
DELTA State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has reiterated his commitment to serving all residents of the state with fairness, inclusivity, and dedication, regardless of ethnic, religious, or political differences.
He made the remarks while receiving a delegation of Catholic priests from the Warri, Issele-Uku, and Bomadi dioceses at the Government House in Asaba.
Governance Rooted in Inclusion and Stability
Oborevwori emphasized that his administration is guided by the principle of inclusive governance, stressing that every ethnic nationality in Delta State deserves a sense of belonging.

Fiscal Discipline and Development Focus
The governor highlighted his administration’s commitment to financial responsibility, stating that all projects are backed by available funds and executed without borrowing.
He noted that workers’ salaries and contractor payments have been consistently prioritized, reinforcing trust in government financial management.
Oborevwori further outlined ongoing development efforts in infrastructure, human capital development, empowerment programmes, and security enhancement.
Engagement With Religious Institutions
Oborevwori praised the Catholic Church for its constructive role in promoting peace and offering guidance to government.
He assured the delegation of continued government support for mission-owned institutions and pledged to consider assistance for the Catholic Pilgrimage Centre at Oleri, including access road development.
