Monarch Tasks Churches On Education, Community Support

Asagba Advocates Stronger Church-Community Relations
HIS Royal Majesty, Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, has challenged churches in Asaba Kingdom to strengthen their contributions to social development through practical community-based interventions.
The monarch made the appeal during a visit by leaders and members of Loveworld Bible Church to the Asagba Palace in Asaba.
Focus on Education and Human Development
Addressing the delegation, the Asagba stressed that churches should not limit their influence to spiritual activities alone, but should also support initiatives capable of uplifting communities socially and economically.
He specifically encouraged churches to invest in scholarships, educational programmes, youth empowerment and other humanitarian projects that promote sustainable development.
The monarch noted that impactful social interventions would help reinforce the values of Christianity within society.
Need for Deeper Christian Impact
The Asagba observed that although Christianity has maintained a strong presence in Asaba for decades, its developmental impact across local communities could still be significantly improved.
He called on Christian leaders to intensify evangelism while also demonstrating faith through practical support for the people.
The monarch further described Asaba Kingdom as a blessed land and appealed to churches to continue offering prayers for peace and prosperity within the community.
Delegation Conveys Oyakhilome’s Goodwill
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Group Pastor Prosper Obioma said the visit was directed by Chris Oyakhilome to formally congratulate the monarch on his successful ascension to the throne.
He praised the Asagba’s leadership and prayed for continued progress and stability in Asaba Kingdom.
The delegation later presented Loveworld devotional materials to the palace before concluding the visit with photographs alongside palace chiefs.
