Governor Pays Tribute to Former Delta Leader
DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has joined family members, political associates and well-wishers in celebrating former Governor Chief James Onanefe Ibori on his 68th birthday, commending his enduring contributions to the growth and development of Delta State.
In a goodwill message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor described Ibori as an inspirational statesman whose years in office helped establish important foundations for the state’s political and socio-economic development.
Oborevwori recalled that Ibori’s administration from 1999 to 2007 demonstrated determination, resilience and a commitment to public service that earned him admiration across Delta State and Nigeria.
Recognition of Lasting Contributions
The governor said the former governor’s developmental vision and leadership qualities continue to resonate years after leaving office.
