Demand Notices Circulated to Residents and Businesses
THE Asaba Sanitation Task Force has commenced the distribution of Demand Notices across communities as part of the enforcement of its sanitation activities and environmental levy system.
According to an official communication issued through the Ugbomanta Coordinators on behalf of the Chairman of the Task Force, the exercise is aimed at strengthening compliance with sanitation regulations and improving environmental management across Asaba and surrounding areas.
The Task Force stated that the notice forms part of ongoing measures to ensure proper implementation of sanitation policies already in place.
Appeal for Cooperation from Residents and Stakeholders
Residents, including landlords, tenants, business owners, and community leaders, have been urged to cooperate fully with sanitation officials during the enforcement process.
The Task Force emphasized that collective participation is necessary to maintain and improve environmental cleanliness standards across communities.
It further noted that environmental sanitation is a shared responsibility that extends beyond government institutions and requires active civic participation.
Commitment to Restoring Environmental Standards
The initiative is designed to restore and sustain the environmental hygiene standards for which Asaba, also known as Kainnebisi, is traditionally recognized.
