FIFA has appointed Egyptian referee Amin Mohamed Omar to officiate Nigeria’s crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against Benin Republic on 14 October at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
Omar will lead an all-Egyptian team of officials, while Ghana’s Prosper Addo will serve as Match Commissioner.
Benin currently top the group with 14 points, as Nigeria look to cut the gap in a decisive clash that could shape their qualification hopes.
