Golden Eaglets Clear MRI Tests For WAFU U17 Tournament

ALL 20 Golden Eaglets players have passed the mandatory MRI age tests ahead of the WAFU-B U17 Tournament in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire. The screenings were conducted on Thursday by CAF’s medical team.
Nigeria’s U17 boys will open their Group B campaign against Benin Republic on September 24 before facing Burkina Faso. Group A features hosts Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Niger Republic and Togo.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s U20 women’s team, the Falconets, have begun training in Kigali ahead of Sunday’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Rwanda. CAF has appointed officials from Sierra Leone and Liberia for the clash at Kigali-Pele Stadium, scheduled for 3pm local time (2pm Nigeria).
