WPRF 2026: Delta NIPR Equips State Delegates To Showcase Delta’s Image To the World

NIPR Strengthens Delta’s Preparations for International Forum
THE Delta State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has stepped up its support for the state’s participation in the 2026 World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) by presenting outfits to members of the contingent.
Chapter chairman Mr. Godfrey C. Osakwe handed over the items on Monday 19 October 2026, on behalf of the executive. The presentation took place at the office of Chief Patrick Ukah at the Delta State Secretariat Annex.
Ukah accepted the outfits on behalf of the delegation. A former chairman of the Delta State NIPR Chapter and a member of the institute’s Governing Council, he also serves on the WPRF National Planning Committee.
Reacting to the presentation, Ukah praised the chapter for supporting the contingent ahead of the international gathering. He described the gesture as a practical demonstration of commitment to the delegation’s successful participation.
Moreover, he commended Osakwe and the executive for recognising the importance of presenting Delta State with a coordinated and professional identity at the forum.
Ukah Highlights Opportunity to Showcase Delta State
With the forum scheduled to hold in Abuja from 15 to 21 November 2026, Ukah urged members of the contingent to seize the opportunity to promote the state’s strengths and achievements.
He said the chapter’s gesture had encouraged the delegation and reinforced the importance of working together to represent Delta State effectively.
“I am truly touched by the thoughtful gesture of the Delta State NIPR Chapter in presenting outfits to our state contingent ahead of the World Public Relations Forum 2026,” Ukah said.
He also thanked Osakwe and the executive for their support, emphasising the need for a united effort to project the state’s image.
“As we prepare for the forum in Abuja from 15 to 21 November 2026, let us work together to showcase the best of Delta State and project our identity, potential and achievements to the world,” he said.
According to Ukah, the week-long event will offer Delta State an important platform to enhance its visibility and communicate its development achievements to a diverse international audience.
Consequently, he views the gathering as more than a professional meeting: it is also an opportunity to build awareness of the state’s potential and strengthen its public image.
International Gathering to Promote Knowledge Exchange
The World Public Relations Forum is expected to attract public relations professionals and communication experts from across the globe.
During the gathering, participants will have opportunities to network, exchange professional knowledge and discuss emerging trends affecting the communications industry. These engagements could also help practitioners develop new ideas and strengthen working relationships across national boundaries.
For the Delta contingent, participation offers an opportunity to engage with international peers while contributing the state’s perspectives to wider discussions about public relations practice.
In addition, the forum could provide avenues to establish professional connections that may support future collaborations and knowledge sharing.
Chapter Seeks Stronger Global Visibility for Delta
The outfit presentation underscores the Delta State NIPR Chapter’s effort to prepare the contingent for effective representation at the forum.
By supporting a coordinated appearance, the chapter is seeking to reinforce the delegation’s professional identity while helping it communicate a consistent image of the state.
Furthermore, the gathering is expected to give Delta representatives opportunities to discuss the state’s potential, share its achievements and strengthen relationships within the international public relations community.
As preparations progress, the chapter’s support signals its commitment to professional engagement and to promoting Delta State beyond Nigeria’s borders. The contingent’s participation will provide an opportunity to build connections, exchange ideas and showcase the state before a global audience.
