Ogbe-Ijoh Monarch @11: Guwor Salutes Pere Monbene III’s Leadership

THE Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has celebrated His Royal Majesty Pere Monbene III, Amaokosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, as the monarch marks his 11th anniversary on the throne.
In a message issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Guwor described the monarch’s reign as one marked by peace, development and a strong commitment to the welfare of his people.
The Speaker said Pere Monbene III had become an important symbol of unity and cultural identity for Ogbe-Ijoh and the wider Ijaw community.
He noted that the monarch had encouraged peaceful relations among different ethnic groups, while also using the traditional institution to promote culture and community development.
Guwor particularly highlighted the monarch’s advocacy for peace in the Niger Delta. He said the traditional ruler’s counsel and efforts toward maintaining stability had earned recognition within and beyond Ogbe-Ijoh.
The Speaker also pointed to developments in Ogbe-Ijoh, which serves as the headquarters of Warri South-West Local Government Area, while associating the community’s stability with the monarch’s leadership.
As the representative of Warri South-West Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Guwor expressed appreciation for Pere Monbene III’s support for good governance and his efforts to promote harmonious relations among the people.
He described the monarch as a royal father whose voice continues to encourage unity, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.
Guwor subsequently prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom and strength for Pere Monbene III, while wishing him many more years on the throne.
He also wished the people of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom a colourful and memorable 11th coronation anniversary celebration.
