Oborevwori Celebrates Oru at 79
DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has felicitated former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Dr. Steve Orishe Oru, on his 79th birth anniversary.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, the governor described Oru as a consummate politician, accomplished leader and elder statesman.
Governor Hails Public Service Contributions
Oborevwori praised Oru for his contributions to the development of Delta State and Nigeria.
He also commended the former minister for his service in various public positions, including Chairman of the National Board for Technical Education and Chairman of the Governing Council of Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara.
According to the governor, Oru’s years of public service reflected a sustained commitment to the development of the state and the country.
Oborevwori Joins Family, Associates to Celebrate
The governor said he joined Oru’s family, political associates and other well-wishers in celebrating the milestone.

He thanked God for granting the former minister the strength and wisdom to serve the people of Delta and Nigeria.
Governor Offers Birthday Prayers
Oborevwori prayed for continued protection, good health and more years of fulfilment for Oru.
He also wished the former minister many more years of service to God and humanity.
The governor’s message recognised Oru’s long involvement in public service and his contributions to Delta State and Nigeria.
