Governor Extends Condolences to Arenyeka Family
DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has sympathised with the family of Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, over the death of their matriarch, Mrs. Felicia Oritselumewor Arenyeka.
The governor conveyed his condolences in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, describing the loss as painful for both the immediate family and the larger community.
Tribute to a Life of Service
Governor Oborevwori said the late Mrs. Arenyeka lived a remarkable life marked by wisdom, compassion, resilience and devotion to family values.
He noted that her passing at the age of 91 reflected a long and impactful journey that touched many lives.
According to the governor, her legacy of service and moral guidance would remain memorable to those who knew her.
Prayer for Strength and Repose
The governor also commiserated with Barrister Victor Arenyeka, Director of Legal Services at the Niger Delta Development Commission, and other members of the family.
He urged them to find comfort in the fulfilled life their mother lived and prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.
