Oborevwori Congratulates Onwo on Diamond Jubilee
DELTA State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm congratulations to the member representing Isoko South Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly, Ferguson Onwo, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
The governor’s goodwill message was conveyed in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, on Saturday.
Recognition for Public Service and Representation
Governor Oborevwori described the former Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly as a committed grassroots politician whose contributions to the growth of his constituency and Delta State have remained significant over the years.
According to the governor, Onwo has distinguished himself through effective legislative representation, dedication to the welfare of his constituents, and steadfast commitment to democratic governance.
He noted that the lawmaker, an indigene of Olomoro Kingdom, has continued to play a notable role in advancing the interests of the people he represents.
Commendation for Health Sector Oversight
The governor also commended Onwo’s performance as Chairman of the House Committee on Health, noting that he has effectively deployed his legislative experience and oversight responsibilities to support efforts aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery in the state.
He said the lawmaker’s contributions to legislative development and public service have earned him recognition among colleagues and constituents alike.
