THE Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) will hold its first Digital Awareness and Sensitisation Forum on 13 November in Abuja to advance inclusion, innovation, and policy alignment in Nigeria’s digital economy.
According to NCC’s Head of Public Affairs, Nnenna Ukoha, the forum themed “Leaving No One Behind: Digital Assets, Equity, and Empowerment” aims to foster collaboration among policymakers, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to bridge the digital divide.
Sessions will address inclusive digital policies, affordable access, infrastructure development, and digital literacy for underserved groups. The event will also feature panel discussions and exhibitions by innovators, fintech firms, and students.
Ukoha said the initiative, supported by partners including USPF, NOA, NCWS, ATCON, FintechNGR, and KOICA, underscores NCC’s commitment to inclusive growth and the protection of over 140 million Internet users.
The event will be livestreamed at scf.ncc.gov.ng for nationwide participation.
