Dennis Osadebay University Opens 2026/2027 Undergraduate Admissions

DOU Begins Admission Process
DENNIS Osadebay University has announced the commencement of admissions into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The Delta State-owned institution invited candidates who selected the university as their first choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored at least 150 to apply for admission.
Change of Institution Option Available
The university also encouraged candidates who did not initially choose DOU as their preferred institution but are interested in studying there to process a change of institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board portal.
According to the institution, the admission exercise is open to both UTME and Direct Entry applicants who meet the stipulated requirements.
Wide Range of Academic Programmes
Established in 2021 by the Delta State Government, the university said it remains focused on innovation-driven and technology-oriented education.
Available programmes cut across several faculties including Allied Health Sciences, Computing, Law, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, Arts, Science, Behavioural Sciences and Management Sciences.
Courses offered include Nursing Science, Public Health, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Software Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Psychology, Mass Communication, Political Science, Architecture and Law, among others.
Admission Requirements and Deadline
The institution stated that candidates must possess at least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in SSCE or its equivalent.
For Direct Entry admission, OND and HND applicants are expected to possess at least Lower Credit, while NCE candidates must meet approved merit conditions.
Applications are to be completed online with a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000. The process will open on 25 May 2026 and will close on 30 August 2026.
