Nigerian Graduates Encouraged To Apply For NJFP Opportunities
YOUNG Nigerian graduates across the country have again been encouraged to apply for the ongoing Nigerian Youth Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), a national initiative aimed at equipping youths with practical workplace experience, employability skills, and long-term career opportunities.
The programme, which is funded by the European Union and implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and the labour market by exposing young graduates to real workplace environments.
Organisers explained that the initiative focuses on building a skilled and productive workforce capable of contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic growth and development.
Workplace Exposure, Mentorship And Monthly Stipends
According to the Delta State Chief Job Creation Officer, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, successful applicants would be deployed to reputable organisations in both the public and private sectors across Nigeria.
He disclosed that fellows under the programme would receive practical workplace experience, professional mentorship, and employability training while earning monthly stipends of up to ₦150,000.
The programme is also expected to expose participants to professional work culture and capacity-building opportunities capable of strengthening their long-term career prospects.
Egwunyenga noted that the initiative goes beyond individual advancement, stressing that it also contributes to sustainable national development by preparing a new generation of professionals to drive innovation and productivity in different sectors of the economy.
