THE countdown to VerveLife 8.0, Africa’s biggest fitness and lifestyle party, has begun — and this year’s edition promises to raise the bar with a star-studded partnership lineup featuring Google Play, Interswitch, Quickteller, Carloha Chery, Hygeia HMO, Pocari Sweat, and Reelfruit.
Slated for 1st November at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre, Lagos, the 2025 VerveLife event will combine high-energy workouts, wellness experiences, and lifestyle showcases in a vibrant celebration of fitness, community, and technology.
Tech Meets Wellness
The inclusion of Google Play adds a digital lifestyle twist to the event, connecting fitness and entertainment through its vast ecosystem of apps, music, and streaming platforms. It’s a reflection of how technology continues to redefine personal wellness and everyday living in Africa’s fast-evolving digital culture.
In a similar stride, Carloha Chery, the automotive brand making waves in Nigeria, is introducing a luxury mobility experience. Attendees will get a first-hand feel of the Chery brand, merging innovation, comfort, and modern lifestyle aesthetics — a perfect complement to the VerveLife theme of motion and momentum.
Health, Nutrition, and Hydration Take Center Stage
Hygeia HMO joins the lineup as the official Health and Wellness Partner, offering free on-site health checks, expert wellness consultations, and preventive care tips designed to inspire sustainable healthy living beyond the event.
Adding a burst of natural energy, Reelfruit will keep fitness lovers fueled with its range of nutrient-rich dried fruit snacks — a delicious reminder that healthy can also be fun.
And for hydration, Pocari Sweat, the Japanese isotonic drink brand, will be available throughout the workouts to keep participants refreshed and recharged.
Payments, Partnerships, and Purpose
Quickteller, the consumer payments platform from Interswitch, will power seamless transactions across all event zones — from merchandise to refreshments — while ensuring convenience and security remain a hallmark of the VerveLife experience.
Speaking on the partnership lineup, Tomi Ogunlesi, Divisional Head of Brands, Communications, Content and CSR at Interswitch Group, said:
“Over the years, VerveLife has evolved from a fitness event into a holistic lifestyle movement. We’re thrilled to have partners like Google Play, Carloha Chery, Hygeia HMO, and Reelfruit onboard. Together, we’re creating a dynamic fusion of technology, health, and entertainment that resonates with how Africans live today.”
A Celebration Beyond Fitness
Beyond the signature workout sessions, VerveLife 8.0 will feature wellness masterclasses, interactive health talks, and an electrifying afterparty — offering participants a 360-degree experience of fitness, fun, and lifestyle.
Now in its eighth year, VerveLife has grown into one of Africa’s most anticipated lifestyle events, uniting thousands of fitness enthusiasts, wellness advocates, and creative brands under one roof.
With this year’s powerful partnerships and immersive experience, VerveLife 8.0 is set to reaffirm its place as not just a fitness party — but a movement that celebrates health, technology, and the vibrant African spirit.
