US Lists 124 Nigerians For Deportation In Fresh Immigration Crackdown

US Publishes Deportation List
THE United States government has published the names and photographs of 124 Nigerians identified for deportation as part of its ongoing immigration enforcement campaign targeting foreign nationals convicted of criminal offences. The list was released by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which described those named as part of its “worst of the worst” criminal offenders scheduled for removal.
The agency, however, did not specify when the deportations would begin.
Part of Broader Immigration Enforcement
According to the DHS, the deportation exercise forms part of the Trump administration’s renewed effort to enforce immigration laws by prioritising the removal of non-citizens convicted of serious crimes.
Officials said the listed individuals had been convicted of offences ranging from assault and fraud to other serious criminal violations, although the agency did not provide detailed case-by-case information.
Nigerians Among Several Nationalities
The list includes nationals from Nigeria alongside citizens of several other countries, including Mexico, Honduras, Cuba, Cameroon, Togo, Burkina Faso and Niger.
The publication follows a broader immigration enforcement strategy under President Donald Trump aimed at deporting undocumented immigrants with criminal convictions.
