Udu Assembly By-Election: Oborevwori Congratulates Okolosi
DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated Hon. Ator Okolosi on his election and swearing-in as the member representing Udu State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.
Oborevwori congratulated the new lawmaker when he received him at the Government House, Asaba, on Tuesday.
Okolosi was accompanied on the visit by the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, and some leaders from Udu Local Government Area.
The governor thanked the people of Udu for their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate in the September 19 by-election.
He urged Okolosi to justify the confidence reposed in him through effective representation and quality service to his constituents.
Oborevwori also charged the new lawmaker to remain committed to the ideals of the APC and work diligently for the development and wellbeing of the people of Udu State Constituency during the remainder of his tenure.
Okolosi expressed appreciation to Governor Oborevwori, Speaker Guwor, party leaders and other stakeholders for their support and contributions to his successful election and swearing-in.
Okolosi won the Udu State Constituency by-election conducted on September 19, 2026, and was subsequently sworn in as a member of the Delta State House of Assembly.
