Nigeria in Strong Position
The Flamingos remain overwhelming favourites to progress after thrashing Guinea 5-0 in the first leg held in Abidjan.
The commanding result has given the Nigerian side one foot in the next round of the qualification series for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
Nigeria produced a ruthless performance in the first meeting, dominating possession and converting chances with ease against the Guinean side.
The result further reinforced the country’s reputation as one of Africa’s strongest forces in women’s youth football.
Focus Turns to Finishing the Job
Despite the scheduling adjustment, attention within the Nigerian camp remains fixed on securing qualification without complications.
The extra preparation time is expected to help the technical crew manage player recovery and sharpen tactical organisation ahead of the decisive encounter.
Fans are also expected to turn out in large numbers to support the Flamingos as they attempt to seal another important step toward international competition.
