Crunch Time for Super Falcons
NIGERIA’S Super Falcons head into their final Group C match against Egypt with qualification for the WAFCON quarter-finals still within their grasp.
The African giants have collected three points from two matches. They defeated Zambia before suffering a narrow setback against Malawi.
Those results leave Nigeria second in the group, ahead of Zambia on head-to-head advantage.
Wednesday’s final round of matches will decide which teams reach the knockout stage.
Qualification Scenarios Become Clear
The Super Falcons control much of their own destiny.
A victory over Egypt gives Nigeria an excellent chance of progressing.
If Malawi avoid defeat against Zambia, Nigeria will book a place in the quarter-finals.
