TEAM Nigeria’s women’s 4x100m relay squad delivered a commanding performance to win gold at the African Athletics Championships in Accra, successfully defending their continental title.
The quartet of Rosemary Nwankwo, Obi Jennifer Chukwuka, Rosemary Chukwuma and Miracle Ezechukwu stormed to victory in a time of 42.94 seconds, fending off strong competition from Liberia and host nation Ghana.
