Nigeria Earns Global Recognition
NIGERIA has been named the winner of the ICC Rexona Criiio Cricket Festival of the Year Award, a major international recognition of the country’s outstanding efforts in promoting cricket among children and expanding the game at the grassroots level.
The award acknowledges the Nigeria Cricket Federation’s successful implementation of the ICC Criiio programme, which introduces young people to cricket through fun, inclusive and community-based activities designed to encourage wider participation in the sport.
