DSSTF Family Honours Mayuku at 60
THE Delta State Security Trust Fund (DSSTF) has celebrated the 60th birthday of its Chairman, Hon. Daniel Mayuku, Esq., with members of the Board, Management and staff gathering to honour his leadership and contributions to the organisation.
The celebration brought together the DSSTF family for goodwill messages, prayers and expressions of appreciation for Mayuku’s service and relationship with colleagues.
Mayuku, visibly delighted by the gesture, expressed gratitude to the Board, Management and staff for organising the surprise celebration. He said he was deeply touched by the show of affection and solidarity.
The chairman said he had not expected the organisation to mark his birthday in such a manner. According to him, the gesture reflected the strong bond and camaraderie that exist among members of the DSSTF family.
Osasa Commends Chairman’s Character
The Executive Secretary of the DSSTF, Rt. Hon. Samuel Osasa, congratulated Mayuku on reaching the milestone age.
Osasa described the chairman as a “jolly fellow” who consistently demonstrates concern for the welfare of people around him. He said Mayuku’s personality and approach to relationships had contributed to the cordial atmosphere within the organisation.
He prayed for the chairman to receive continued strength, wisdom and fulfilment as he begins another decade of his life.
Other members of the Board also joined in the felicitations.
Sir David Onokpe prayed for many more years of good health and continued accomplishment for the celebrant. Similarly, the only female member of the Board, Mrs. Ofonyeadi Ndudi, wished Mayuku a gracious birthday and prayed that he would enjoy the rewards of a fulfilling life.
Golf Kitty Opens Birthday Celebration
The birthday activities had commenced with a Birthday Golf Kitty at the Ibori Golf and Country Club in Asaba.
The tournament attracted guests and members of the DSSTF family and provided an opportunity for participants to combine sporting activities with the celebration of the chairman’s milestone.
The event featured goodwill speeches, the cutting of birthday cakes, presentation of gifts to Mayuku and prizes to winners in various categories.
Guests also enjoyed refreshments as the golf event provided a relaxed setting for colleagues, friends and associates to celebrate the chairman.
A Celebration of Service & Fellowship
Beyond the birthday milestone, the celebration served as an opportunity for the DSSTF community to acknowledge Mayuku’s role as chairman and to reinforce the sense of fellowship within the organisation.
The combination of formal goodwill messages and informal activities reflected the personal relationships that have developed among members of the Trust Fund.
As Mayuku begins his seventh decade, members of the organisation expressed their hopes for continued good health, wisdom and fulfilment for the chairman, while celebrating the values of leadership, friendship and institutional solidarity that shaped the occasion.
