Asagba Inspects Palace Event Centre Ahead Of October Commissioning

HIS Royal Majesty, Asagba Prof. Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, SAN, OON, FNIALS, FICMIC, LLD (hc), KSJI, KSG, has inspected the ongoing Asagba Palace Event Centre project in Asaba.
The monarch undertook the inspection on 22 September 2026, to assess the progress and quality of work at the project site. The event centre is being personally sponsored by the Asagba as part of his commitment to projects that will contribute to the development of Asaba Kingdom.
During the inspection, the monarch reviewed the ongoing construction and assessed the pace of execution. He also interacted with the Project Manager, Engr. Kenneth Azinge, and other personnel handling the project.
Asagba Azinge stressed the need for quality workmanship and adherence to agreed standards. He also urged the project team to remain committed to timely completion.
The inspection provided the monarch with a first-hand assessment of the project as preparations continue for its planned commissioning.
According to the Palace, the project forms part of the monarch’s broader commitment to legacy initiatives capable of strengthening the socio-cultural and infrastructural development of Asaba Kingdom.
The event centre is scheduled for commissioning on 2 October 2026, as part of activities marking the Asagba’s second coronation anniversary.
