Kolomoni Launches ‘Snap & Pay,’ ‘Schedule Payment’ To Simplify Digital Banking

MICROFINANCE and digital banking platform Kolomoni has launched two new personal banking features — ‘Snap and Pay’ and ‘Schedule Payment’ — aimed at enhancing convenience and accuracy for users.
According to Mrs. Simbiat Kazeem, Head of Personal Banking, the ‘Snap and Pay’ feature uses optical character recognition (OCR) to extract account details from a photographed number, eliminating manual entry errors and speeding up transactions.
The ‘Schedule Payment’ tool allows users to automate recurring bills, subscriptions, and transfers, ensuring timely payments without reminders.
Kazeem said the innovations align with Kolomoni’s mission to simplify finance through technology, offering users control, reliability, and ease in managing their money.
The new features are available on the Kolomoni Personal Banking app, downloadable from Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and are part of the bank’s drive to deepen financial inclusion in Nigeria and The Gambia.
