Armed Forces Reaffirm Resolve To Safeguard Nigeria’s Security

THE Armed Forces of Nigeria have restated their commitment to defending the nation’s territorial integrity and maintaining internal security.
Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja, the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Markus Kangye, praised troops for their dedication and professionalism in tackling terrorism, banditry, and maritime crimes.
He noted that recent operations across all regions have yielded significant results, including the recovery of weapons, explosives, and ammunition. Kangye attributed these successes to intelligence-driven strategies, coordinated efforts, and the support of Nigerians.
He reaffirmed the military’s readiness to sustain momentum, enhance regional cooperation, and ensure lasting peace and stability nationwide.
