Police Foil Robbery In Abuja, Kill One Suspect

POLICE in the FCT have foiled a robbery attempt at Giri Village near the University of Abuja Staff Quarters, killing one suspect during a gunfight.

The operation, carried out by Tungan Maje Division officers with support from vigilantes and the Civilian JTF around 3:20 a.m., forced the robbers to flee.

Recovered items include a POS machine, four phones, and a cutlass. Police say efforts are ongoing to arrest the escaped suspects.
