Delta Government Postpones Ugbolu–Okpanam Road Groundbreaking

THE Delta State Government has postponed the groundbreaking of the 12km Ugbolu–Okpanam Road due to heavy rainfall in the area.

Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads and Public Information), Mr. Charles Aniagwu, said the weather made it impossible to hold the ceremony as planned.

He conveyed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s regrets to guests, assuring that the project remains a top priority under the state’s MORE Agenda for infrastructure development. A new date will be announced soon.
