Malawi Sweep Aside Nigeria, Stay Perfect At Africa Netball Cup

THE Malawi Queens continued their impressive run at the Africa Netball Cup in Kenya with a commanding 82–22 victory over Nigeria.

Malawi controlled the contest from the opening whistle. The defending champions quickly imposed their attacking style and kept Nigeria under constant pressure.

Nigeria struggled to contain the Queens as Malawi moved the ball sharply and finished their opportunities with precision. As the game progressed, the gap continued to widen.

By the final whistle, Malawi had built a massive 60-goal advantage. The emphatic victory also gave the Queens their second straight win in the tournament.

Earlier, Malawi had already defeated Zambia and hosts Kenya. Consequently, the latest result further strengthened their early campaign and kept their momentum intact.

The Queens are also pursuing qualification for next year’s international competition in Australia. With another convincing performance behind them, they have strengthened their position as the Africa Netball Cup continues.

Malawi will now turn their attention to the next challenge as they seek to maintain their winning run and continue their push for qualification.
