THE Delta State Government has paid glowing tribute to the late Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Mr. Sunny Kotor, describing him as a committed public servant whose professionalism, loyalty and dedication left a lasting impact on government operations and public service in the state.
At a solemn day of tribute held at Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, represented by Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme, said Kotor’s passing on 20 March 2026 at the age of 63 represented a significant loss not only to his family but also to colleagues and the wider Delta State community.
The governor noted that throughout his years of service, Kotor distinguished himself through discipline, efficiency and an unwavering commitment to duty, qualities that earned him the respect of public officials and members of the public alike.

According to Governor Oborevwori, the late protocol aide played a critical role in ensuring the smooth conduct of official engagements, maintaining decorum and professionalism at government functions across the state.
