DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has expressed gratitude to God following what he described as a peaceful and orderly APC primary election process in the state.
Speaking during a morning devotion service at the Government House Chapel in Asaba, the governor said the outcome reflected unity, stability, and cooperation among political actors.
He described the primaries as one of the most peaceful in recent memory, especially when compared to earlier election cycles.
“No Crisis, No Conflict” — Governor Highlights Smooth Process
Oborevwori noted that the absence of violence or political tension was a significant milestone for the state.
He stated that:
“No crisis, no fights, nothing. Everything went peacefully.”
The governor added that past electoral experiences made the recent calm outcome even more meaningful.

The governor emphasized that gratitude had become a consistent part of his leadership approach following key milestones.
Quoting Psalm 100:4, he stressed the importance of thanksgiving in public and personal life, noting that governance achievements should be acknowledged with humility.
He also highlighted the importance of good health, saying it remains as valuable as material success.
