Oborevwori Celebrates Nwaobi at 51, Hails Legislative Excellence
DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emmanuel Emeka Nwaobi, as the lawmaker marked his 51st birthday on 17 January.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement issued in Asaba by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in which Oborevwori praised Nwaobi’s record of service, leadership qualities and contributions to the legislative development of Delta State.
Commendation for Legislative Leadership
Governor Oborevwori described Hon. Nwaobi, who represents Aniocha North State Constituency, as a legislator of high repute whose performance continues to strengthen the State Assembly. He noted that the House Leader’s role as Chairman of the Nigerian Majority Leaders’ Forum further reflects the confidence placed in him by his peers across the country.
According to the Governor, Nwaobi’s leadership style, marked by humility, discipline and a deep sense of patriotism, has helped foster stability, order and effective collaboration within the legislative arm of government.
Strengthening the Legislative Arm
Oborevwori observed that Delta State has benefited immensely from the presence of competent lawmakers who understand the demands of governance and the responsibility of representation. He described Nwaobi as a brilliant legislator whose conduct and capacity have brought pride to the Delta State House of Assembly.
“Delta State is blessed to have competent lawmakers in the class of Hon. Emeka Nwaobi,” the Governor said, stressing that his effectiveness as House Leader has contributed to the smooth handling of legislative business and matters of public interest.
Service to Constituency and State
The Governor further noted that Nwaobi has consistently demonstrated the ability to balance constituency representation with broader state interests, ensuring that legislative decisions align with development goals and good governance principles.
As House Leader, Oborevwori said, Nwaobi has shown maturity in managing debates, building consensus and supporting initiatives aimed at the growth and progress of Delta State.

Extending personal and official goodwill, Governor Oborevwori congratulated the lawmaker on reaching the milestone age of 51, describing it as a testament to God’s grace and a call to continued service.
