DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, received widespread commendation from residents and motorists in Warri and Effurun after inspecting ongoing flyover projects at the DSC Roundabout and Enerhen Junction.
As the governor walked through the Enerhen Junction site, residents hailed him as a responsive leader committed to easing traffic challenges in the area and improving the quality of life for residents.
Easing Traffic During Festivities
Addressing journalists, Governor Oborevwori said he had appealed to Julius Berger to ensure temporary access to sections of the flyovers during the festive season to reduce congestion. He acknowledged the challenges residents faced during construction but noted that the temporary openings had already provided noticeable relief.
He explained that traffic conditions at Enerhen and DSC had improved compared to previous months, describing the changes as a sign of progress.
Completion in View
Governor Oborevwori expressed confidence that the three flyovers and the ongoing road dualisation project would be completed during the dry season. He praised the contractors for maintaining high construction standards and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development across Delta State.
He also extended Christmas and New Year goodwill messages to residents, urging them to enjoy the festive season in peace.
