THE United States has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigerian students seeking higher education opportunities in America.
Speaking at the 2025 EducationUSA Nigeria Fair in Abuja, U.S. Embassy Public Diplomacy Officer Brian Neubert said the U.S. remains dedicated to empowering Nigeria’s next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers.
The annual fair, themed “Empowering Futures, Discover American Excellence in Education and Innovation,” connects Nigerian students with representatives from U.S. universities to explore admission requirements, academic programmes, scholarships, and financial aid.
Neubert noted that 28 American colleges and universities participated this year, adding that EducationUSA offers free counselling to guide students through applications and visa processes. He urged prospective students to comply with U.S. regulations and return with valuable experiences to contribute to Nigeria’s development.
