Star-studded Movie “Over The Bridge” Hits The Cinemas 5 September
A fascinating Nollywood movie “Over The Bridge” is set for release in Cinemas across Nigeria on 5 September, its producer has said.
Nile Entertainment, the distribution company of the star-studded film, announced the release date on its verified Instagram page.
The post reads: “Over The Bridge” debuts in Nigerian Cinemas from 5 September.
“#OverTheBridgeMovie tells a powerful story of ambition, identity, and mental health: best way to catch it is on the big screen.
“Over The Bridge” is written by Tosin Otudeko and produced by Bose Oshi, staring ace actors, including Segilola Ogidan and Nollywood veteran Joke Silva.
Other casts include Akin Lewis, Deyemi Okanlawon, Chimezie Imo, Ozzy Agu, Paul Adams, Ropo Ewenla, Toyin Oshinaike and Elma Mbadiwe.
Directed by Tolu Ajayi “Over The Bridge” follows the story of an investment banker whose life twisted after a high-profile project scandal.
As he disappears to confront his inner turmoil, his wife is left to navigate life in his absence, while the world around them continues to shift.
The blockbuster psychological thriller has earned multiple nominations especially at the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), where it received nominations for the Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography.
It also featured as the Opening Night Film at the 2024 New York African Film Festival.
