St. Peter Clavers College Marks 70th Anniversary As Hon. Efe Afe Commissions ICT Centre
THE people of Aghalokpe were in a joyful mood when the House of Representatives Member Representing Uvwie, Sapele and Okpe Constituency in the federal House of Assembly, Hon. Efe Afe was among other dignitaries that graced the 7Oth anniversary of St.Peter Clavers College in the community.
It was like a carnival in the community as the different sets of classes from 1950 till date reunited to celebrate after a long while.
The Principal of the College, Rev. Fr. Christopher Ogaga, while addressing the old students and invitees, appreciated God and gave special thanks to the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, who handed the college and other schools back to the missionaries, stated that for the past 10 years, the vision of the Catholic Diocese of Warri, the Parents Teacher’s Association (PTA) in collaboration with the old students of the school is to restore the dignity and the place of St.Peter Clavers College among other secondary schools in Nigeria and beyond, with a goal to rehabilitate, develop and help assist the school to become an international one.
