Senator Nwaoboshi’s Camp Lambasts Critic, Charles Olisa
· Calls Him A Mercenary, Political Harlot And Leprous Double Agent
· Nwaoboshi Outshines Osakwe, Okowa’s Years At Senate- Aide
A Legislative Aide to Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, of Delta North Senatorial District, Philip Elueme, has described the Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta, whose popular acronym is SPON, as undeserving of the recent criticism leveled against him by one Charles Olisa, in a rebuttal, made available to Newscrackers.com, titled, “Charles Olisa’s Hogwash and Falsehood Against Senator Nwaoboshi’s Massive Development Strides: A Case of Extreme Desperation.”
In the statement, issued at the Senate Building, Abuja, Elueme, further held, in respect of Olisa’s criticisms, that “lies have very short legs. Firstly, Dr. Olisa, a mere SA at the NDDC, attached to the then Executive Director, has shown that he was a glorified file-carrying clerical assistant, who hierarchically, is not in a position to influence an NDDC emergency road project awarded at Ashaka, Ndokwa East Local Government Area.
“This Emergency project was completely under the purview of SPON as the very strategic, powerful and influential Chairman of the Senate Niger Delta Committee. It is only an ethically configured egotripist bigot like Dr. Olisa, who will shamelessly present this ridiculously couched diatribe to curry the favour of his pay masters! Dr. Olisa should please name the contracting firm that handled the Ashaka emergency road project in question, including the names of the company’s directors.
It is instructive to ask him why he failed to use his so called strategic, influential position in NDDC to attract one single project in his home town, Aboh. But Dr. Olisa’s himself exonerated the Senator by admitting freely that SPON as our Senator in Delta North, has attracted over 400 developmental projects? What a master class performance by S.P.O.N.
“Indeed, our SPON does not regret one bit, the redistribution of these projects across Delta North Senatorial District. However, what Olisa willfully failed to tabulate are the many school renovation projects, supply of school tables and chairs, solar light and water schemes, etc, awarded in Ndokwa and Anioma and Delta North communities at large! The mischievous doctor gave himself away, when he could not help but admit that the most strategic and highly valued projects in the amalgam of over 400 projects attracted by SPON in Delta North as Senator, include the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology (FUATA), Aboh, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, a rich petroleum, gas and electric power generating area. He had pleaded with Mr. President to sign the FUATA bill, passed into law by the National Assembly. But Olisa’s lot is a laboured, true to type political mercenary, a laughable attempt to undermine the role of SPON in this huge achievement, by imputing unfounded hearsay, beer parlour gossips and illogical ranting to please his new pay master in Government House, Asaba.”
“Furthermore, the assertion by Mr. Tony Ndanenu, who received and assisted the Ashaka road contractors when they came to site, completely knocks out the bottom of Olisa’s inglorious tirade. The fact that he could not make the NDDC to award this job to his nominated contractor confirmed his personal loss from an ego trip!
“While Olisa is licking his wounds, it would excite the people of Delta North Senatorial District to know that FUATA is now a reality and Senator Nwaoboshi is on the right side of history. It is historically factual that the attempt to get a Federal higher institution established in Ndokwa land, was in the doldrums, for a complete 12 years’ tenure of Senator Osakwe (1999-2011), through the four years tenure of Senator (now Governor Okowa), between 2011-2015, but SPON stopped the endless waiting, when he sponsored a Bill for the Establishment of a Federal Polytechnic at Kwale, which the Eight Senate, under Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Saraki’s leadership, passed, meaning approved, but for the delay and inability by the House of Representatives, to concurrently pass same bill expeditiously, without possibility of onward transmission to the Presidency, led to what was only a temporary failure. In retrospect, that effort was killed in the House of Representatives, with Ndokwa son, who is a PDP member, in attendance, albeit it was only a bodily presence.”
“But the success story to establish the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology (FUATA), was due to the active and diligent representation of the people of Delta North by SPON. Such steadfastness with his democratic mandate has now given Ndokwa land a Federal high institution, after two past senators looked the other way. And this is how SPON did it all; he initiated and sponsored the bill at the Senate, which was passed, the House of Representative concurred and the making of history only awaits a Presidential assent.”
“Should the likes of Olisa be wondering how in God’s name, did this gold medal winning representation by SPON came about, they must be told that SPON succeeded in changing the narrative, after 16 years of docile and lukewarm representation by those two Senators of the PDP era, but SPON kept his eyes on the goal, meaning that all what Delta North failed to get was due to poor representation by the past PDP senators, of which the last is the promoter of this notorious political mercenary and bribe-induced political harlot, who is now in the payroll of the Owa despot.
“It is on record that Governor Okowa has vehemently refused to fund the Aboh Polytechnic approved by Governor Uduaghan’s administration, citing lack of funds, yet he established three higher institutions across his Owa home land, namely, the Advanced Teachers Institute, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Training School and most recently, the so-named University of Delta, with an uptrend university campus in his own backyard at Owa, all with billions of Naira belonging to Deltans. Why is he marginalising his own part of the state, by saying that Ndokwa Nation, which houses our rich petroleum, gas and electric power plants, does not deserve to have funds released for the Aboh Polytechnic take off, as approved by his predecessor.
It was only an amorally reconfigured Olisa, who would sell his conscience against his Ndokwa people because he is presently in the payroll of a man who cannot practice his self given sobriquet-‘Ekwueme’, hence, Olisa took to falsely attacking S.P.O.N after working assiduously to sponsor a bill at the Senate to establish FUATA, a feat his paymaster, Oga Ekwueme failed to do, out of choice rather than circumstance.”
Furthermore in his blistering response, Nwaoboshi’s aide said, “this is another nauseating and gibberish falsehood by Olisa, an obviously devious, Judas Iscariot, notorious bribe taker and indeed, a failed anti-Ndokwa crusader and Ekwueme’s Government House errand boy. But it is a fact that SPON, through the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta, as part of his constituency projects, constructed the imposing Kwale Skill Acquisition Centre. How could Dr. Olisa, who parades himself as a grassroots politician, not have knowledge of the existence of such a star project under his nose, unless he is what he really is- a rotten pretender and master of the art of deception and mischief. That is why he is an ‘amorally configured political harlot, unmindful of the developmental needs of his Ndokwa youths, but shamelessly spewing falsehood.
“Is he even aware that constituency projects are domiciled in ministries or parastatals, as such, funds for such projects are not directly or indirectly passed through the Senators, but Olisa, mischievously and falsely made claims to the contrary. It was a cock and bull, as well as a ridiculous lie from the pit of hell. Every Ndokwa man and woman, who has not been bought over, knows about the budgeted skills aquisition centre in kwale. His first year budget was for the building structure, while the second year was for the equipment, as awarded by the Niger Delta Ministry. The other two valued skills aquisition centres are in the Delta State Capital territory.
“We had published, with pictorial proof, the delivery of electricity transformers to many Anioma communities, including Ndokwa land, as other constituency projects by SPON. Why would Olisa willfully misled his people for a pot of porridge?
Therefore, Olise is hallucinating. He is only a naive political upstart, a court jester and political turncoat, who now worships Hon. Ossai Ossai, of the PDP, a minority member of the lower House, who, thank goodness, did not have the political clout and to kill the passage of this bill, but in an APC dominated National assembly, the dominant influence of SPON, ably supported by the Deputy Senate President, Omo Agege, held sway.
“Olisa’s lies is laughable, from the market women, to youths, who were children, when PDP senators, Osakwe and Okowa did nothing to redeem the image of Ndokwa Nation and Delta North in general, by attracting much needed Federal presence, even when theirs was the party at the centre. conversely, SPON should be commended for establishing this strategic, arguably best of the best, very highly valued FUATA University in Aboh, Ndokwa land and not in his native land, as Okowa would have done. And he has done so by selfishly citing three higher institutions in his Owa homeland, while neglecting Ndokwa, Aniocha and other parts of Ika completely!
“For the records, at the public hearing of FUATA, held in Abuja at the Senate, on the 29th of July, 2021, the NNU President and mouth piece of the Ndokwa Nation, referred to S.P.O.N. as the Political ‘JESUS’ of Ndokwa Nation, for his selfless initiative in sponsoring the FUATA Bill. Hence, Ndokwa Nation has spoken, but Dr. Olisa is ranting”, Elueme, a Legislative Aide to Senator Nwaoboshi concluded.
