Ughelli South APC Affirms Loyalty to Renewed Hope Agenda
THE Ughelli South chapter of the All Progressives Congress has passed a unanimous vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, pledging full support for the Renewed Hope Agenda and ongoing governance reforms.
The resolution was reached at a stakeholders’ meeting held in Edjophe, Ughelli South, where party elders, leaders, ward executives and women leaders converged to review party affairs and national developments.
The motion, moved by Prof. Godini Gabriel Darah and seconded by Barr. Tony Omonemu, was adopted without dissent, reflecting broad-based confidence in the leadership at both federal and state levels.
Hon. Dr. Chris Oghenechovwen, host of the meeting, commended President Tinubu for implementing policies aimed at economic restructuring and national growth, while applauding Governor Oborevwori for accelerating infrastructure development across Delta State.
The meeting ended with a renewed pledge of unity, as party faithful described Oghenechovwen as a rallying figure and reaffirmed their readiness to mobilise support for the APC in future elections.
