GLOBAL wellness and lifestyle company QNET has urged parents to limit children’s exposure to smartphones, tablets, and other digital devices, warning that young users may be more vulnerable to radiation emitted by modern gadgets.
Speaking at a product workshop in Abuja, QNET’s Regional Strategy and Marketing Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Berni Gaksch, said prolonged exposure to radiation from devices such as mobile phones and Wi-Fi routers has become a growing global concern.
He noted that children may be at greater risk because their skulls are still developing. “When a baby’s cranium has not fully formed, radiation can penetrate more easily. Parents must minimise exposure,” he said.
At the event, the company showcased its Amezcua wellness range—including the Chi Pendant 4, Bio Disc 3, and Bio Light 3—designed to support immunity, boost energy and help the body maintain balance. Gaksch said the products use resonance and energy technologies aimed at countering electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation, though they are not meant to cure illnesses.
“These products enhance your body function. A stronger immune system enables the body to heal itself,” he added.
He also warned about microwave radiation, saying it is “very high,” though the company’s devices provide only partial protection. According to QNET, the products carry certifications from Germany, Russia, and the United States.
