Police Hail NBA Conference Security Success
THE Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr. Mamman Giwa, has hailed the outstanding security success recorded during the 2025 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual Conference.
The conference, which attracted over 20,000 lawyers, was hosted in Enugu from 23 to 28 August, 2025.
Giwa gave the commendation during a post-conference debriefing with key supervisory officers of the Enugu State Police Command on Monday.
He credited the successful outcome to the professionalism and dedication of officers and men of the Command, as well as personnel of sister security agencies.
The commissioner, who described personnel efforts as exemplary, said their discipline and synergy with sister agencies ensured the high-profile event held without any breach of peace.
“I appreciate the Inspector-General of Police, Dr. Kayode Egbetokun, for his guidance and support, which greatly enhanced operations during the conference.
“The command also thanks the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, for his unwavering support, and sister security agencies for their effective collaboration throughout,” he said.
The commissioner reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to sustaining professionalism and proactive policing to safeguard lives and property across the state.
Giwa further urged residents to remain law-abiding and continue supporting the police with timely and credible information.
