Oborevwori Salutes Orodje Of Okpe On Birth Anniversary

DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers and Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, HRM Maj.-Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (rtd), Orhue I, on his birth anniversary.
In a statement issued in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor celebrated the revered monarch for his steadfast contributions to peace, development, and nation-building.
Oborevwori described the Orodje as a respected royal father whose integrity, influence, and leadership continue to strengthen unity and progress across Delta State and beyond. He said the monarch’s decades of service reflect an unwavering commitment to cultural preservation, communal harmony, and the advancement of the Okpe nation.
The Governor lauded Orhue I for his support for the present administration and for consistently promoting cohesion within the traditional institution in alignment with the state’s development goals.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Delta State, I warmly congratulate His Royal Majesty, Maj.-Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (rtd), CFR, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, on his birth anniversary,” Oborevwori stated, adding that the royal father has remained a symbol of peace, unity, and exemplary leadership.
He joined the people of Okpe Kingdom in celebrating “an extraordinary monarch,” praying for God’s continued guidance, strength, and long life for the traditional ruler.
Oborevwori further hailed the Orodje as a mentor and role model whose devotion to peacebuilding, cultural continuity, and socio-cultural cooperation continues to inspire leaders across generations.
