GOVERNOR Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has extended warm felicitations to Chief Mrs. Faith Majemite as she marks her 59th birth anniversary, acknowledging her longstanding role in local governance and party mobilisation.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor described Majemite as a steadfast political stalwart whose engagement at the grassroots level has had measurable impact in Ethiope East Local Government Area.
Born in Kokori, Majemite rose through local political ranks to serve as Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council. During her tenure, she was widely recognised for her mobilisation efforts and outreach across communities.
Advocacy for Women in Politics
As Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation, Majemite focused on strengthening women’s participation within party structures and governance processes. Her advocacy aligned with broader efforts to expand gender representation in political leadership roles.
