Nicki Minaj To Speak At UN Event On Alleged Attacks Against Nigerian Christians

AMERICAN rapper Nicki Minaj is set to address alleged attacks on Christians in Nigeria at a United Nations event in New York on Tuesday. She will appear alongside US Ambassador to the UN, Michael Waltz, and adviser Alex Bruesewitz, convener of the event.
Ambassador Waltz praised Minaj for using her platform to highlight what he called “atrocities against Christians in Nigeria.” Minaj said she takes the responsibility seriously and “will never stand down in the face of injustice.”
The event follows former President Donald Trump’s claims of ongoing “Christian genocide” in Nigeria, with his administration urging Congress to take action. The Nigerian government has denied religiously motivated violence, attributing insecurity to criminal activity, while US officials continue to express concern.
