Kwale Comes Alive With OPAC Modular Refinery Take-Off In Dec
THE quest to expand Nigeria’s capability in local refining of crude oil appeared to gain traction, with an OPAC Modular Refinery in Kwale Town, Delta State, set for commissioning this December.
But it is a Federal project, which was licensed by the Buhari administration in 2017, with the developers quickly swinging into action, through intensive construction and installation works, under strict government supervision.
It was revealed that it has the capacity to process 10,000 barrels of crude oil per day, while it is expected to help the country overcome endless fuel importation, as well as create employment for hundreds of Deltans at the oil and gas facility.
