FORMER U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has announced that she will share the stage with renowned Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie at the 2025 London Literature Festival. The event, scheduled for Thursday 23 October, forms part of Harris’s “107 Days” international book tour.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Harris expressed excitement about the upcoming discussion, saying she looked forward to her conversation with Adichie. The London appearance, already sold out, is expected to draw global attention given both women’s influence in politics and literature.
Harris’s newly released memoir, “107 Days,” published on 23 September 2025, offers a personal and reflective account of her brief but eventful presidential campaign. She describes the writing process as “living the campaign in reverse,” reliving its highs and lows while exploring lessons in leadership, identity, and resilience.
The London Literature Festival appearance will highlight Harris’s insights on politics and personal conviction, while Adichie—known for her bestselling works “Half of a Yellow Sun” and “We Should All Be Feminists”—is expected to engage her in a deep, thought-provoking conversation about power, purpose, and storytelling.
Harris has so far made several stops on her global book tour, including appearances in major U.S. cities alongside cultural and media personalities such as comedian Roy Wood Jr., broadcaster Charlamagne Tha God, and writer Lynae Vanee.
The London event, organised in partnership with Foyles, will serve as one of the tour’s major highlights, bringing together two prominent voices in politics and literature for what is expected to be an engaging and insightful dialogue.
