Independence Day: Oborevwori Urges Unity, Pledges More Development

DELTA State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has called on Nigerians to embrace unity and shun divisive tendencies as the nation marked its 65th Independence anniversary.
Speaking at The Cenotaph, Asaba, through his deputy, Monday Onyeme, the governor urged citizens to reflect on the sacrifices of Nigeria’s founding fathers and remain committed to building a prosperous future.
He reaffirmed his administration’s focus on infrastructure, education, healthcare, ICT, and support for vulnerable groups under the M.O.R.E Agenda, stressing that unity and collective effort were vital for progress.
Oborevwori also congratulated President Bola Tinubu and pledged continued commitment to sustainable development and inclusive growth in Delta State.
