Formal Launch of ‘IZU IKEI’ Holds 6 September
THE Aniocha-Oshimili Elders’ Association, otherwise known as ‘Izu Ikei’, is to be formally launched on Saturday 6 September 2025.
The event, which will also feature a lecture on the theme: “Traditional Deterrents to Deviant Anti-Social Behavior in Aniocha-Oshomili: Bridging the Gap Between Governance and Culture”, will take place at Grand Hotel, Asaba, beginning at 10am.
A statement jointly issued by the Association’s President, Prince Clement Okonjo, and Secretary, Chief Chris O. O. Boise, indicates that Senator Prince Ned Nwoko will be Special Guest of Honour/Chief Launcher.
The statement, also signed by the Chairman, Planning Committee for the event, Prof. Nkeonye Otakpor and Secretary, Uche Emma Aboh, adds that Prof. Odigwe Nwaokocha, of the University of Benin, will be Special Guest Speaker.
