Finance Commissioner, Tilije Honoured By Political Family In Obiaruku
UKWUANI Local Government Area, has honoured Hon. Fidelis Okenmor Tilije, Delta State Commissioner for Finance, at Obiaruku, headquarters of the local government area.
The Special Guest of Honour, His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, was represented by Hon. Kingsley Esisio, PDP Chairman, Delta State. Chairman of the occasion was Engr. GOC Amuchi. PDP chieftain, Engr. Dan ossai, Chief Chris C. Oyemike, Abanum Jonathan and other notable PDP members in Ukwuani were present.
The gathering was tagged “Operation Zero Opposition In Ukwuani L.G.A.” The event was designed to commend Tilije’s efforts towards development in Ukwuani Local Government Area and for its political growth.
The Finance Commissioner, in his speech, said that, “PDP is one united family; they have leaders, there are no more factions. Please let there be no more self interest among the political leaders. You people called me a national leader, but ‘am not, we have leaders, ranging from the Federal level to the wards, we are all leaders, but in different roles. Many have decamped from APC to PDP.” Tilije promised to go where ever Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa goes.
