THE Federal High Court (FHC) will commence its 2025/2026 Legal Year alongside its annual judges’ conference from 15 to 18 December at the court’s headquarters in Abuja.
A statement issued by the court’s Director of Information, Dr. Catherine Christopher, confirmed the schedule, noting that the event will serve as both the ceremonial opening of the new legal year and a strategic forum for evaluating judicial performance.
According to the circular signed by the Chief Judge, Justice John T. Tsoho, the conference will provide an opportunity for judges to reflect on past achievements, address emerging challenges in justice administration, and strengthen judicial efficiency across the nation.
Christopher added that details on the court’s vacation period will be communicated later. She also conveyed the Chief Judge’s goodwill message to all judges, wishing them a successful conference and a productive year ahead.
